Project Overview

The burn building is approximately 2,240 square feet of space with four operational levels – three enclosed and 3 open terrace areas – and includes interior and exterior stairs. The building can be utilized for roof rescue training as well as live fire environments for recruit school and in-service training.​

The project has a total capital budget of $523,000.00 and is anticipated to finish by Jan 31, 2025.

The prefabricated Burn Building has been ordered, with an expected delivery in December 2024. The foundation has been constructed by Public Works. Construction should be complete by the end of January 2025.
